Elsevier社前払トランザクションでできること

• 大学が事前に購入したトランザクションを使い、現在購読していない（「CancerCell」「The Lancet」以外の）エルゼビア社の電子ジャーナル・電子ブックを閲覧できます。なお、過去に本学で購読していた電子ジャーナルの号や、部局で購読している電子ジャーナルはトランザクションを使用せず閲覧できます。（リンクをクリックするとExcelが開きます）
• トランザクション1回分で、電子ジャーナル１論文または電子ブック1章分が閲覧可能です。
• 学外（自宅・出張先等）からも利用可能です。

利用対象者

• 本学の役員及び職員（教員を含む）
• 本学の学生
• 本学の名誉教授、客員教授及び客員准教授
• 本学の客員研究員等の本学と契約関係がある者
• 本学の役員及び職員と共同研究を行う者で、島根大学附属図書館長が必要と認めた者

利用にあたっての事前手続きについて

• Elsevier社Webサイト上での登録と、島根大学附属図書館へのWeb申請が必要です。登録手続きの方法は下記URLをご覧ください。なお、手続きには時間がかかる場合があります。

• 学部生は毎年度、Web申請による更新が必要です。更新時期になりましたら、図書館から更新の案内をメールでお送りします。

本学の名誉教授、客員教授及び客員准教授
本学の客員研究員等の本学と契約関係がある者
本学の役員及び職員と共同研究を行う者で、島根大学附属図書館長が必要と認めた者

• お名前とメールアドレスをjou[at]lib.shimane-u.ac.jp（[at]はアットマークに書き換えて下さい）にご送付ください。折り返し、手続きの方法をご連絡します。

備考

• 利用した個人に対して利用料金を請求することはありませんが、1報あたり数千円分が全学共通予算から支出されます。また、大学全体で利用数の上限があります。
• 利用数が極端に多い方については、図書館が利用状況を聴取の上、翌月以降の利用を一時的に停止することがあります。なお、担当されている学生が大量に利用した場合、学生自身に加え、学生の担当教員の方の利用を停止する場合がございます。
• 前払トランザクションのご利用前は、抄録等で内容を確認し、必要な時に必要な分のみ利用するようご協力ください。例えば、過去ダウンロードしたものと同じ論文ではないかをご確認いただくほか、後で読むためにダウンロードしておくようなことはご遠慮ください。

What does the transaction service offer?

• You can view Elsevier's e-journals/e-books. "Cancer Cell" and "The Lancet" can be freely view without the transaction. You can freely view articles from e-journal volumes subscribed previously or subscribed now by faculty/graduate school subscribes.
• One transaction allows you to view an article of an e-journal or a chapter of an e-book.
• You can use this service outside the campus e.g. at home, while on a business trip.

Who can use the service?

• Shimane University executives and staff/faculty members
• Shimane University students
• Shimane University professors emeritus *Application procedures are required
• Those who have a contractual relationship with Shimane University （cf. visiting researcher）　*Application procedures are required
• Those who conduct joint research with Shimane University executives or staff/faculty members *Application procedures are required

What do I have to do to use the service?

Shimane University executives and staff/faculty members
Shimane University students

• Registration on the Elsevier website and online application to the university library are required. Refer to below for the procedure. Preparing this service may take some time.

• In addition, undergraduate students need to renew their user account every year through online application. When it is time to renew, the university library will send you a renewal notice by e-mail.

Shimane University professors emeritus
Those who have a contractual relationship with Shimane University （cf. visiting researcher）
Those who conduct joint research with Shimane University executives or staff/faculty members

• Send an email to the university library with your name and email address. Email: jou[at]lib.shimane-u.ac.jp (replace [at] with @) You will be notified of the procedures in return.

Note

• Users do not have to pay a fee to use this service, however since it is purchased with the university-wide common budget for all users, there is a limit to the number that can be used by our university as a whole.
• If you use an extremely large number of “Transaction”, we may suspend your usage temporarily for the following month and beyond after asking about the reasons and usage status. In addition, if your assigned student uses a large number of the service, we may also suspend your own use of it.
• You should use this service only when you need it and in the amount you need it. Before using it, please check the contents with some abstracts or make sure that you have not downloaded the same paper / chapter in the past. (Do not download the paper / chapter to read later.)
