How Can I Use Group Study Rooms or Learning Commons?

The library has group study rooms (by reservation only) and Learning Commons as places for seminars, clubs, and other groups to study and hold meetings.

The group study rooms are available only for Shimane University Students, Faculty Members and Staffs.
The Learning Commons, located on the first and second floors, is open to both University Members and the general public during normal hours. Students, faculty members, and staff can reserve Learning Commons at the service desk.
Both the Group Study Rooms and the Learning Commons can usually be used while conversing, but we reserve the right to refuse use if the noise is so loud that it disturbs other users. The rule in the COVID-19 epidemic may different from usual. In addition, regular weekly (every time) use for classes, etc. is not permitted.
