How Can I  Recommend a Book on the Syllabus?

The Library purchase books listed in the syllabus every year. So we ask a favor of you write the information about the book which you want to introduce or assign in the class on the syllabus before the class start.

Important:

• Writing correct and detailed information about the book

Some books have analogous titles. It is effective to write the title, the author and the publisher so that you convey the correct information to students. We especially recommend to write the ISBN, the international ID number of a book.

• Paying Attention to Revision

Some books are revised. Especially some books assigned textbooks have been used for a long time, and revised little by little. Even if you choose same book, to recommend the latest edition for students, please check the book is revised or not every year if it is possible.
Checking revised or not is important because the old edition often goes out of print. When you identify the book edition, writing the edition number or ISBN (old edition and new edition are given different ISBN) is effective.
