How Can I Use a Study Cubicles?

The library is equipped some study cubicles for individual studying and learning.
The study cubicles are located on the 1st and 2nd floor, 5 rooms in total. All rooms need a reservation to use. Only Shimane University students, faculty and staff can use the rooms.

• 1st floor：Study Cubicle 1,2
• 2nd floor：Study Cubicle 3,4,5

How Can I Make a Reservation?

You can make a reservation on the reservation page or the computer at the service desk.

• Please fill out all items and click "Reserve".
• Making reservation is available even if it is just before.
• Please make sure the date of reservation is correct.

What Is the Rule to Use?

We made some rules to use Study Cubicles for comfortable using by many people. Please keep in your mind as follows.

1. You can reserve only 1 room and for 3 hours for once.
   • When you want to extend your time, please tell it to the staff at the service desk. Unless the other user has made a reservation for the same room, an extension is available.
   • If there are many applications, it is unavailable to use more than twice a day by the same person. Another room is also unavailable in such a case. (E.g. At first using the Study Cubicle 1 and after that reserving the Study Cubicle 2.)
2. You can make a reservation up to one week later.
3. Drinking and eating is prohibited.
4. Only Shimane University students, faculty and staff can use.

If you do not follow the above rules, you may not be allowed to use the rooms.
