How Can I Display Using the Exhibition Room or Walls?

The exhibition room in the main library 1st floor and the exhibition walls of the corridors can be used to display academic and educational materials, as well as to introduce the results of education, research and extracurricular activities.
If you need to use them, please contact the library.
When granting permission for the use of exhibition room and walls, the exhibition place to be used and the exhibition period will be determined in consideration of the purpose of the exhibition, the status of use of the places.

What Materials Can Be Displayed?

• Academic and educational materials.
• Results of Shimane University's educational and research activities.
• Results of student extracurricular activities.
• Other materials that contribute to education, research, and student learning at Shimane University and are approved by the Director of the Shimane University Library.

Who Can Use the Exhibition Room and Walls?

• The faculty and the staff of Shimane University.
• Student groups approved by the Director of Shimane University Library or University-accredited extracurricular activity groups.

How Long Can I Exhibit?

• The exhibition places can be used for up to two weeks. (An extension is possible, but it require permission from the Director).

Other

• The user shall bear the costs of transporting the exhibit materials, printing and preparing the exhibit commentary, and other expenses related to the exhibit.
• The user is responsible for carrying in the exhibit materials, printing and preparing the exhibit commentary, displaying materials, and any other work necessary for the exhibit.
• The following items may be borrowed for the exhibition.
  • Display cases with locks (6 units).
  • Exhibition panels (A1 size, A2 size, B1 size, B2 size).
  • Wire hooks.
  • Sign stands, etc.
